World Mental Health Day

Today is the day to educate, learn, and reduce stigma about mental illness. No doubt, mental illness (MI) is confounding, confusing and very difficult to deal with on the inside or from the outside. But it is an illness and as such, it is treatable, at least to a degree. Some of us who suffer from MI are very lucky in that our symptoms are controlled to a large degree with medication and lifestyle changes. Some of us aren’t that lucky but do get some help. I know we have to be strong, mental illness can test the strongest of us. Here’s a story I found quite amazing: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/10/10/sport/world-mental-health-day-suicide-depression-clarke-carlisle-spt-intl/index.html

Happy World Mental Health Day, warriors! Go out there and educate, learn and live the best life for yourself and for your loved ones.
