Yes, I use antique tools from about 100yrs ago and older. Some are from my great great grandfather, John Matthew Peacock Mortimer. He was a cabinet maker in Cincinnati Ohio during the Civil War. Production is slow, but it’s fun!
I’ll have to consider a post about woodworking. My favorite piece is the end table at the end of our sofa. My biggest job was all new hardwood molding around the wainscoting of my old house. (and some other places as well) The house was made in 1847, and it seemed appropriate. I made all the edges with a rabbet plane, a round and two handmade scratch stocks. My latest was a prop rifle for my daughter to use with her cosplay costume.
Awesome! Making stuff sure is fun!

Thanks! I’m having so much fun! I think I’ll always be doing woodwork from now on! Do you work with wood as well?

Actually, I really have to make any blog post, with all of the problems in my life this year, it’s been the last thing on my mind… 😦

Wood working is contagious and it looks like you were not vaccinated. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! Nope! I was not vaccinated and have certainly caught the bug! Waiting to hear about a guitar making workshop. 😀
