Ummmm I’m on 50,000 units per week because of my low levels. This article has me thinking that might not be such a good idea. Especially because according to research cited in this article, you can actually get fractures if you take too much vitamin D!!!
This is so important to know! I read we can make vitamin D by getting sunlight. But of course sunlight isn’t always around & how does one measure that exactly. I wonder how low you can go on the vitamin D supplement, because there’s no way you want to risk the problems of taking too much!!!! XOXOOXXO

I know!!! It’s like those bisphosphanates for osteoporosis that cause femur fractures!!! https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/thigh-fractures-linked-to-osteoporosis-drugs-long-term-use-questioned-201205214737
I had a post on that too.
It’s very scary what the medical establishment tried to do with very shortsighted thinking.
Love you Lady Dy!

Yes! Sunlight, I think 20 minutes in the sun or less if you’re fair skinned should do it. Hmmm time to sun tanning 😄 I just got back from Nantucket where I’m sure I made lots of vit. D. With tons of love and hugs 🤗 💗

I don’t take that much, but I had one of my parathyroid glands removed and was told to take calcium with vitamin D twice a day. Very interesting article.

Both taking calcium and vitamin D are suspect now. I’m really confused as to what to do. This article certainly shows bad effects of taking vitamin D 😐
