A Fall Poem

Poems written the end of the year

Solitude and forlorness

Aloneness and emptiness

Rain drizzling, overcast skies

Sitting here wondering where the year went by

Started with the Women’s March, so hopefully

Now the political climate is dismal

The actual climate is dismal

Heading towards Fall maybe I should call it Autumn

Just sadness and longing for the hopeful times, the beginnings

Raindrops become my teardrops
